Dragon's Gift is the title of the Masters of the Universe minicomic, which is an adaptation of the television episode of the same name. The story was written by Michael Halperin and the artwork was drawn by Alfredo Alcala. The story is adapted from the first season Filmation episode "The Dragon's Gift", although also contains a number of differences to that story.
- Heroic Warriors
- King Randor, Man-At-Arms, Teela, Prince Adam/He-Man
- Evil Warriors
- Other Heroic Characters
Skeletor wants to turn the king into a statue with a cursed amulet, but it strikes Man-at-Arms instead. He-Man and Teela go to Granamyr, the oldest and wisest dragon on Eternia, to find the cure. After some trouble with a few trolls and an Ice Hacker, they reach his cave. He agrees to help them, if they do something for him in return: chop down the Tree of Life, an ancient tree, and bring it to him. A manticore is guarding this tree, but it is no match for He-Man. The tree, which is sentient, agrees to be chopped down to save Man-at-Arms' life. Suddenly He-Man's conscience stops him; he cannot take a life to save one, and spares the tree. He returns and tells Granamyr of his failure, but the old dragon proclaims it was a test of He-Man's mercy and wisdom and that he has done well. The dragon provides them with a spell to save Man-At-Arms.
- This is Granamyr's only minicomic appearance. Although he is red in the television series, in the comic he is green.
