Brindle is a character in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
History[]
Brindle was the father of Lyra, a girl who fell in love with the young dragon Torm. The wizard Zem also wanted to marry Lyra, but Brindle would not approve and banished him for insulting Torm. He saved He-Man and Man-At-Arms from Braylok, a demon that Zem summoned to spirit them away, and tasked He-Man with retrieving the Silver Apple from the Tree of Many Fruits to prove that Torm was worthy of marrying Lyra. The evil dragon Shadow Wing turned Brindle to ice during his assault on Darksmoke, but he was restored to normal in time to attend his daughter's wedding.
