The Dark One is a minor character from the 1985 animated series She-Ra: Princess of Power.

The Dark One is the self-proclaimed ruler of the Dark Dimension. When She-Ra and Hordak were accidentally pulled into the Dark One's domain, they were forced to work together to find a way out.
Eventually, Hordak tried to betray She-Ra and leave without her, but the Dark One trapped him in a stasis field and told She-Ra she was free to go home. The Princess of Power, however, proved her worth by refusing to leave without Hordak.
The Dark One attacked She-Ra with bolts of energy, which she strained to absorb using her Sword of Protection. Even then, She-Ra refused to redirect these energies at the Dark One as Hordak suggested. Demonstrating her great strength and her mighty heart, the Dark One allowed both of them to leave his dimension.
Trivia[]
The character model for the Dark One is the same as Dragoon from the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode "Dawn of Dragoon." Only the colors have been slightly altered.[1]
