Podi is a character from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
History[]
Podi is the young daughter of Chief Merlo, who is friends with Man-At-Arms. While visiting the Royal Palace and playing with Orko, she accidentally hurled a ball through the window of Man-At-Arms' workshop and broke one of his inventions. Instead of taking responsibility, she ran off to hide in the Vine Jungle and was captured by Rago, who also captured Orko when he came looking for her. He traveled to the temple that held the Moorfire Stones and used Podi to steal them, then collapsed the temple entrance and left her there with Orko. He-Man soon arrived with Chief Merlo, Man-At-Arms, and Teela to rescue them, then stopped Zegone and recovered the Moorfire Stones. Podi put the stones back in their proper place, and learned a valuable lesson about taking responsibility for her actions in the process.
