Rago is a character from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
History[]
Rago was once a member of the Fantos tribe. He was sent to the prison mines for failing to protect the tribe's water supply and turning to thievery, but he escaped and became determined to overthrow Chief Merlo. He captured Podi and Orko while they wandered through the Vine Jungle, then had Podi steal the Moorfire Stones and used them to complete Zegone, a rhinoceros-like vehicle and totem that Rago and his followers venerated. However, He-Man caught up with him as he made his way to the Fantos tribe's village and blasted Zegone's legs out from under it. Rago tried to flee into the jungle, but He-Man tangled him up with an armful of clinging vines. Chief Merlo then sent Rago and his followers back to work in the prison mines.
