The Roton is a vehicle that features in the 1980s toyline Masters of the Universe and the animated television series based on the toyline, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, produced by Filmation.
Description[]
The Roton is a vehicle which is used by the villains in the series. The vehicle is fitted around the circumference with razor-sharp blades. The blades whirl around as the vehicle travels. Atop the vehicle are mounted two laser guns.
Name Differences[]
In some parts of the world, Roton was released as Krotar. The toys are identical, and labels with the new name were simply placed over the old one on the packaging. This is rumored to be for copyright/trademark reasons.

The Monogram model version of the Roton had a very different look to it. So the MOTU Origins version of the toy came with additional pieces so it
Filmation He-Man Cartoon[]

The Roton vehicle features in several of the episodes. Although the Roton toy was built for only one figure to pilot it, the cartoon features it as a big vehicle piloted by several Evil Warriors.
Masters of the Universe Revelation[]

The Roton was used by the forces of Skeletor as they launched a large scale attack on Castle Grayskull. Most of them were piloted by Skelcons during the battle.
Turtles of Grayskull[]
In the third mini comic included with the third wave Turtles of Grayskull action figures, The Spirit of Gray-Shell, the Turtles travel to the Forgotten Island in the Radical Roton, a Turtle version of the Roton.
