- The shot of Shadow Weaver standing on the edge of the gorge was originally used in the episode Three Courageous Hearts.
- The close-up sequence of She-Ra pushing the corner of the pyramid was previously used in the episodes Troll's Dream and The Greatest Magic.
- In the 2018 reboot series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, Serenia was the name of an ancient First Ones hero after whom a constellation was named, as explained in the episode Reunion. A message from this hero is heard in the later episode Return to the Fright Zone.
