The Sword of the Ancients appears in Masks of Power (both the minicomic and the animated version).
History[]
It is the only thing that can destroy the Masks of Power, and it is in a quartz rock in a maze beneath Snake Mountain. He-Man retrieves the sword and uses its power to finish the power of the masks.
In the minicomic version, He-Man drops the Sword of the Ancients in the Mystic Mountains and it is swallowed into the ground. In the animated version, the Sword of the Ancients fuses with the Sword of Power instead.
