Trollans are a race of magical beings who are the dominant life form on Trolla, a planet in the Timeless Dimension. Trollans wear red robes, red hats, and hide their faces behind scarves. In Trollan society, showing one's face to another is considered an intimate act, similar to humans sharing a kiss. Trollans also have purple blood.
Trollans appear to be blue-skinned humanoids with pointy ears. However, their feet remain hidden under their robes. Judging by the length of Orko's arms, Trollans have a physical stature similar to apes. Trollans have natural magical abilities, including levitation, which they exclusively use instead of walking, which may explain their very short legs.

- Orko - Known as "Orko the Great" on Trolla, but considered something of an immature fool on Eternia, where he tries to help the Heroic Warriors against Skeletor.
- Dree Elle - Orko's girlfriend, who appears in the episodes "Dawn of Dragoon," "Dree Elle's Return," "Trouble in Trolla," and "The Bitter Rose" as well as the She-Ra: Princess of Power episode "The Greatest Magic."
- Yukkers - Dree Elle's prank-playing younger brother from "Dree Elle's Return."
- Montork - Orko's uncle, from the episodes "Orko's Favorite Uncle," "The Return of Orko's Uncle," and "Trouble in Trolla."
- Snoob - A misguided Trollan wizard who appears in the episode "Trouble in Trolla."
- Wokrapanwooki - A practical joker from the Trollan realm of Karadania, who appears in the episode "Trouble's Middle Name." If he is representative of all Karadanians, they evidently do not conceal their faces.
- Squonge - Orko's friend from the episode "Orko's New Friend." Identical to Orko aside from wearing an aviator hat and not having an O on his robe. Known for concocting tall tales.
- Doctor Zoog - An evil Trollan scientist who believes that Trolla should be run by machines, not magic. He appears in the She-Ra: Princess of Power episode "The Greatest Magic."
- Big Uggo - A dimwitted henchman to Doctor Zoog.
- Blim the High Muck Muck - A high ranking Trollan who resides in The Unfortress of the High Muck Muck.
- Foosabella the Muckess - The consort to the High Muck Muck.
- Warden Umpty - Prison Warden at Flotsam Prison in the Sing-Song Sea.
- Crimson Council - A group of Trolla's most powerful magicians, who combine their abilities to keep all the magic of Trolla running smoothly.
- The Oracle - All-knowing Oracle from the episode of the 2002 series titled "The Power of Grayskull," who resided on Ancient Eternia in a flashback sequence. The only other Trollan besides Orko to appear in the modern series.
