General Tataran is a character from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
History[]
General Tataran is the commander of an army of goblins from the planet Venatar. Like all goblins, he has no heart and feels no remorse for committing acts of great evil. He sometimes rides a Venatarian Thunder Lizard into battle.
Tataran and his troops work as mercenaries on Eternia, often finding themselves in the service of Skeletor. On one occasion, they attacked the Royal Palace by night in an attempt to capture King Randor and Queen Marlena, but were frozen by the alien entity Om and teleported away when He-Man defeated Skeletor in single combat. On another occasion, Tataran disguised himself as a human and pretended to be crushed by a structure that He-Man knocked over while fighting Skeletor, making him think that his negligence had caused an innocent man's death.
