Dark Horse Comics is an American comic book publishing company. It produced the first three minicomics for inclusion in Mattel's Masters of the Universe Classics toyline, continuing the series of minicomics introduced in the 1980s Masters toys. The story in the three minicomics was by Scott Neithlich and written by Tim Seeley and drawn by Wellinton Alves, with covers by Eric Powell. The minicomics used elements from the vintage "The Powers of Grayskull, pt1" minicomic, mixing new story elements invented for the Classics canon. This new story dealt with the Powers of Grayskull line, which included King Hiss and He-Ro, tying the toy continuity to the He-Man line and known as The New Adventures of He-Man. Seeley said that this comic line was intended to blend the He-Man continuities and select the best stories and ideas from MOTU history.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation[]

Masters of the Universe: Masterverse[]

  • This mini-series features three short stories in each issue set in a different MOTU reality. However, the framing sequence appears to take place in the same universe as Masters of the Universe: Revelation and is set just after Adam's first appearance as He-Man.

Masters of the Universe: Forge of Destiny[]

Masters of the Universe: Revolution[]

In January 2024, it was announced that Dark Horse Comics will publish a four-part limited series to the Netflix TV series Masters of the Universe: Revolution.[2]
