Molkrom is an enormous olive-green hybrid monster with horns, two tendrils for arms, four horse legs (like a centaur), a doggish tail, and a long, blonde mane.
The Sorceress describes Molkrom and his situation as such: "With him, the Torgs were invincible. So the Elders used their magic to imprison him deep in the caves in which the Torgs live. [...] The Staff of Avion can free Molkrom, and Molkrom has the power to destroy Grayskull." Molkrom has incredibly strong magic that appears to rival even the Sorceress' power.
Molkrom is described as the Torgs' "prince of destruction," and he has been imprisoned for centuries in a crystal fortified by the "magic of the Elders." Skeletor aims to find the weak point in the crystal and free Molkrom, but he needs something with the same power of the magic of the Elders. With the Torgs' King Von's advice, Skeletor kidnaps Stratos in order to steal the Staff of Avion. With the Staff of Avion, Skeletor reveals the crystal's weak point and frees Molkrom, who promptly roars and throws his tendrils in the air. Molkrom can blow intensely concentrated wind blasts,fire energy streams out of his eyes, fabricate or destroy walls, act as a steed, transform fire into ominous trees, and use his tendrils for whipping and constriction.

- According to a map of Castle Grayskull that was created for the Masters of the Universe Classics toy line, Molkrom, imprisoned in crystal, was kept for safekeeping at Grayskull after the battle depected in Reign of the Monster.
