Mount Candila is an old volcano located in the Whispering Woods. Unknown to the inhabitants of the Woods, Mount Canidla caused rivers of lava to flow beneath the woods, which in turn warmed up the ground and destroyed several forms of plantlife.
She-Ra tried to stop the lava tunnels by plugging the volcano with a large rock. When this did not work, she decided to flood the lava tunnels with ocean water.
