Norwyn is a minor character from the 1985 animated series She-Ra: Princess of Power.

Norwyn is a powerful magician who taught the ways of magic to both Castaspella and Shadow Weaver. When the Evil Horde first came to Etheria, he made sure that the Council of Kings were safe. Only a handful knew the secret location of their base. Unfortunately, Shadow Weaver had made a deal with the Horde. They would provide her with a Power Gem that would make her powerful beyond imagining. In exchange, she would betray the Council of Kings. Norwyn discovered what was happening too late. He destroyed the Power Gem, but not before she had taken a third of its power. It changed her forever, and for that reason she has hunted her former master ever since.
Young Norwyn
Norwyn went into hiding for many years, and settled down in the Hidden Forest near the village of Alwyn. He took another apprentice, young Arden, but the boy grew impatient with Norwyn's way of teaching and sought out Shadow Weaver to speed up his lessons. Norwyn called in help from his old friend Madame Razz, who took along She-Ra, Princess of Power and her mighty steed Swift Wind. Together they traveled to Horror Hall, where they witnessed Arden make the wise choice of rejecting Shadow Weaver's quick but destructive ways of gaining power. After this, Norwyn defeated his former pupil in her own domain and bid her farewell.
Together with Arden, Norwyn returned once more to relative obscurity and safety of their home in the Hidden Forest.
