The Price of Deceit is the 32nd episode of the 2002 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe series. It originally aired on November 22, 2003.
Summary[]
Skeletor captures Evil-Lyn near the ruins of Zalesia and resolves to sacrifice her to the Pool of Shadows. She asks The Faceless One for help, so he sends He-Man to save her. Despite reminding Skeletor of when she first met him as Keldor and when she summoned Hordak to save his life, Evil-Lyn couldn't convince him to spare her until after He-Man saves her from the horrors of the Forsaken Realm. Evil-Lyn attacks He-Man, helps Skeletor up, and returns his Havoc Staff, prompting him to take her back under the condition that she never betrays him again.
Moral[]
He-Man: "It's important to forgive. It shows that you care enough about someone to give them a second chance. Try to practice forgiveness the next time someone disappoints you or hurts your feelings. Forgive them, and chances are you'll both feel a lot better. Until next time."
