Tri-Solar System

The New Adventures of He-Man[]

The Tri-Solar System is the general setting of The New Adventures of He-Man. It includes planet Primus, home of the Galactic Guardians, and Denebria, where the Evil Mutants come from.

Three of the four Minicomics produced for the He-Man toyline featured maps of the Tri-Solar Galaxy citing the most prominent locations on Primus, Denebria and their respective moons Enos and Nordor.

According to Skeletor in the episode The Power of the Good and the Way of the Magic, Primus receives supplies from eight of the other planets surrounding it.

Masters of the Universe Classics[]

In the Classics continuity, the Tri-Solar planetary system was located within space controlled by the Horde Empire. The Galactic Guardians were renamed Galactic Protectors and Flogg's mutants were the Evil Horde's Space Mutant Goon Squad.

Skeletor began his campaign to conquer the Horde Empire by recruiting the Denebrians led by Flogg to help him overthrow Horde Prime. The Galactic Protectors recruited the Twins of Power, He-Man and She-Ra to help them. The two factions battled each other for five years before heavy losses on both sides convinced them to join forces and take the fight to Horde World.

Several Evil Horde characters from the Masters of the Universe franchise were revealed to come from the Tri-Solar System in their Masters of the Universe Classics bio: Catra was the former evil queen C'yra of D'Riluth III before she joined the Horde; as did the Vebex Rock Man called Callix and the scientist Galen Nycroft who would become Modulok.
